The epistemic foundations of injustice: lessons from the Young Marx

Abstract This article intends to show what extent the early Marxian categories of alienation, ideology and proletariat can serve better understand current forms epistemic injustice, as well as, conversely, how latter illuminate some unclear aspects such concepts. In first part, it will be explained which Marx’s concept alienation accounts for experience an individual in a world whose norms she is subject, but cannot recognise her own.
